Yes. Faculty and staff undergo a background check. Volunteers that work closely with children also undergo a background check.
On average, we have smaller classroom sizes for a more personal feel. So it's usually 13-16 students.
We go on many field trips all summer long. From Sports Clinics, Swimming, Arts/Crafts, Cooking classes, Praise Dancing, Movies, Board Games, Guest Speakers, Birthday Bashes, Physical Exercise, Computer Games, and Field Trips. We keep it exciting!
We are a member of Christian Schools International and use the Accredited ABEKA Curriculum.
We use the A-Beka curriculum paired with age-appropriate, creative hands-on activities that incorporate kindergarten through the 3rd grade readiness skills. In addition, we offer music, piano, dance and other extra curriculum activities.
Tuition is to be paid monthly. Tuition is due on the first of each month. Payment is considered late after 5 pm on the 2nd of each month and a $50.00 late fee plus $5.00 per day will be added to the balance. Students may be denied childcare on the 6th day if no payment is made.
For the program to have full benefit and influence upon your child, regular attendance is very important. To maintain proper ratios, children may not be able to make up missed days. They will be able to attend only on the days they are enrolled, unless approved by the Director .
A 30-day written notice is required for withdrawal. In the event of an early withdrawal, there will be no refund available for any portion of the tuition and/or registration.
.beKidz Christian Preschool will not be responsible for offering make- up days or financial reimbursement of a child being sent home for suspected illness and or behavior.
The fees for any field trips and special events are not included in the tuition.
All holidays and school closures have already been considered when determining the annual tuition.
We have used our beautiful parents in the past, to help chaperone our students on many field trips, bus transportation etc...we are beyond thankful for our parent's willingness to help us out.
Luckily, we are housed within a facility with an arrangement of activities this includes gymnastics, jujitsu, swimming, and many more. We also house an indoor playground, game room, and so much more!
As part of its partnership with Christian families, .beKidZ expects regular attendance at church. The home, the church, and the school serve as a place of training for developing the whole person for God's glory.
.beKidZ admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin, and grants all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Having regard for race, color, national and ethnic origin, or disability in the administration of the school's education, admission policies, financial aid, athletic, and other school-administered programs is forbidden.
Due to our very extraordinary time in history, .beKidZ has adopted the following guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
While these are mere guidelines and do not represent any state or federal laws as of yet, .beKidZ will do due diligence to follow these guidelines were ethically and morally possible.
As a caveat, please be aware that many of the CDC guidelines may be in conflict with our mission to reach the hurting with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are told to lay hands on the sick, to visit those in distress and to practice faith at all times.
When the CDC guidelines conflict with the commands of Christ, then True Vine/.beKidZ will obey God rather than men. The following are straight from the CDC’s website:
Masks: Masks are optional.
Students will not be required to wear face coverings during the 2021-2022 school year, unless conditions change in the state and local authorities demand it. Students that desire to wear a face covering may do so. Students who do wear masks will be supported in their decision.
Groups:
Group gatherings are necessary for the help and mental stability of children. No child will be prevented from playing with other children or being near another child, unless the local authorities deemed that a child should be quarantined.
Building Access:
Parents will be allowed to visit the interior of school buildings. The school will closely monitor COVID-19 conditions in our community through the school year and may limit parental visits within the buildings if needed for certain periods of time.
Vans:
Students will not be required to wear masks on busses or vans.
Quarantine:
No asymptomatic students will be considered contagious of disease unless the parent or local authorities bring this to our attention. .beKidZ has no authority to declare an asymptomatic child quarantined. Therefore, .beKidZ will follow the guidance in the school handbook regarding any contagious or airborne illness.
